The influence base is pretty greedy, so keep hands with a good influence base and some action against aggro. You need to understand the matchup, your wincon, how long the game will last, and how much power you currently have. This deck is somewhat difficult to pilot when you need to make decisions about Rise to the Challenge. The deck is slow against Visage + Eye of Winter control decks. The deck has some trouble with Sandstorm Titan, Dawnwalkers, and SmugglerРІР‚в„ўs Stash. The deck should be favored against Rakano. I believe that armory decks in general are pretty good against decks that rely onР’В aegis creatures + equipment. Because Eye of Winter is really only good against Rakano, it may make sense to swap it out for another weapon or card draw (Wisdom of the Elders) or Valkyrie Enforcer. However, it is a bit of a un-combo with weapons that want to attack and kill creatures. Eye of WinterР’В also synergizes well with Harsh Rule. With unstable form to strip aegis and endurance from units, there may be a mild synergy. The single Eye of Winter IРІР‚в„ўm not sure about. It can also kill problem creatures like Boardstall Titan that are outside of relic weapon range. Obliterate is to deal with opposing relic weapons. However, beating an opponent down with Sword of Icaria or Auric Runehammer can work too. Icaria isnРІР‚в„ўt asР’В good in Combrei matchups with Sandstorm Titan or Visage +Р’В Eye of Winter control. Most games tend to go long so Icaria and Sword of the Sky King are there to close out games. I actually donРІР‚в„ўt like Rise to the Challenge that much because itРІР‚в„ўs a little slow and durdle-ey. Rise + Auric Runehammer gives a 6-attack weapon that can take down almost all units that you see inР’В constructed play. There is a minor toolbox with Rise to the Challenge. You want to play the Sword aggressively to start stacking Warcry triggers (hopefully onto another cheap weapon).

Sword of Icaria and Auric Runehammer are the main weapons. Auric Sentry puts on a bad Combrei Healer impression. To deal with aggro, I run 3X Auric Sentry alongside all of the sweepers and 3X Torch. Unlike traditional armory, I donРІР‚в„ўt run cards like Rakano Artisan and Armorsmith. IРІР‚в„ўve been experimenting with a Rakano armory build that splashes Primal for card filtering, 4X Lightning Storm, and 1-2 Unstable Form.

Many units are only good due to their Summon abilities, which donРІР‚в„ўt trigger via Unstable Form.

Because the new unit is almost always outside of its home, Unstable FormР’В deals with Dawnwalkers and other creatures with greatР’В abilities.

Most units are synergistic and are bad without synergies.

Most units created via Unstable Form arenРІР‚в„ўt constructed playable.Unstable Form gets rid of stat boosts from Warcry, so you donРІР‚в„ўt need to worry as much about opponentsРІР‚в„ў Warcry triggers.Most of the time (but not all the time), the new unit created via unstable form is worse than the original unit. In armory, the idea is to run 1 or 2 of these to РІР‚СљsilenceРІР‚Сњ and de-buff units into relic weapon range. Unstable Form might very well be a constructed playable card in a Tier 1 or 2 deck.
